Kevin W. Love, P.E.
Principal

Kevin W. Love, P.E. has over 16 years experience in commercial and residential land development.  During his career, he was employed at the City of San Antonio where was involved in re-writing the City's Unified Development Code.  He also served as manager within the Development Services Department supervising platting review staff.  His section was responsible for ensuring subdivision plats were in conformance with the UDC's drainage and traffic requirements.  Kevin was also responsible for representing staff to the Planning Commission for such issues as variance recommendations and technical information.

Mr. Love has served on the Technical Advisory Committee and the City of San Antonio's Planning Commission.

In addition to working as a project manager for engineering firms, Kevin spent approximately 3 years as a development manager for David Berndt Interest who has developed over 13 million square feet of retail space.  Kevin played a key role in all aspects of development, including the hiring of all consultants (civil engineer, architect, geotechnical engineer, landscape architect and MEP consultants).  Stages of development includes site planning, due diligence, budgeting, lease reviews and tenant coordination.  Some major projects Kevin managed while at DBI included Woodlake Crossing (a 35-acre retail site), The Villages at Stone Oak (an 87-acre retail site), Kyle Market Place (a 127-acre retail site) and Terrell Plaza (a 19-acre retail site).

When Kevin is not working closely with Texas' municipalities or utility companies, he continues working on his strong relationship with his clients as an active member of the community.  He stays on top of new development with continued education.  Kevin completed the second class of the Real Estate Council of San Antonio's Young Leadership Development Program back in 2006.
